On the left: reduced sap, first filtering. It goes back on the stove tomorrow to reduce by more than half, hopefully. On the right: a very, very slow-filtering syrup, but almost perfectly clear. The hours it takes to get to the final product is insane, and I have no idea why I do this as an amateur.
