Pictures From A Father's Christmas

The table is set for Christmas dinner, bacon-topped scallops served with sage as an appetizer

Delicious. So beautiful, it was sad to consider it food.

Goose and stuffed pork loin was the entrée, serve with green beans, giblet stuffing, and mashed potatoes.

Among the most delicious things my father has ever made. Like a fine wine, he ages well?

And while we ate goose and pig in his warm home, the blizzard was ignored.

I wondered what that appetizer was when I saw it on facebook . . . it looks professionally done. And goose sounds impressive, though I've never had it . . . yum.

I liked his Christmas tree, too.

We said the same thing about his scallops; they look like art, something my father isn't exactly known for. I think the new girlfriend may have something to do with all of this.
